I can do it Tips

Ok so its November and it feels like winter has just begun in KS. This year I am thinking ahead to spring break! So I joined a gym close to home and have gotten back on track to eating healthy again. When I was a stay at home mom it was so much easier to get things done like making homemade meals. Now that I am at work all day it was getting much easier to just drive thru.

Funny thing is at the gym when I first joined I was asked about a million questions on my health , how I lost the baby weight, what vitamins I take. Well I had to say I really didnt excercise much but I do eat healthy.

So my tips on losing weight or maintaining weight loss...

1. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day I find its easier to drink that much if I drink from a bottle a 1 liter bottle of Evian is my tool refilled two times a day if im not workign out 3 if I am.

2. I stash wasabi soy almonds in my desk at work the spicyness helps curb my appetite, not to mention almonds are good for you in small quanties. 20 is a snack.

3. Eat breakfast I am grossed out by milk and so I drink soy. The thought of drinking something that comes out of a cow utter yucky! thanks field trip to the farm for ruining milk forever. So I have soy milk in either oatmeal or cereal.

4. Drink tea without the sugar or honey (bee vomit) the warmness of it will help you feel fuller.

5.Keep fruit at eye level so you pick it instead of hitting the vending machine.

6. I always have my Activia yogurt with lunch.

So those are my tips for now :)

Stinky Behind

Maybe I need a New Planner ?

I used to have a really awesome daily planner but now its OLD and falling apart. But for anyone who is interested in what my days consist of these days... The life after being a SAHM for 3 years.

Monday thru Friday I wake up at 5:00 am so I will have an hour to straighten up my house , have some coffee watch the AM news and get ready for work at 7:00 am I wake up the little ones and get them ready and by 7:30 am we are out the door and on our way to day care and work where I work 8:15 to 4:15 when I pick the little ladies up from daycare and have a snack in the car on our way to the gym where we stay from about 5 to 6:30. We get home and the girls play or do arts stuff while I get dinner ready then we eat and bathtime and hopefully bed by 8:00pm . Then I clean up from dinner and try to get the laundry done and set out our clothes for the next morning and watch a tv show , read a book or try my new hobby knitting. Then hit the sack and start all over again the next day wishin I had just a little more time to play with my babies or even do school online. My schedule only changes up a bit on Thursdays when we try and go to the library before the gym. Not sure what my weekend will hold this weekend im hoping that maybe soem miracle will happen and I will have enough freetime to go visit at Riley for a couple hours but its not looking good for that.

Thanksgiving Divorce

Just had to share this story...

THANKSGIVING DIVORCE

A man in Jacksonville calls his son in San Diego the day before Thanksgiving and says, “I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing: forty-five years of misery is enough!” “Pop, what are you talking about?” the son screams. “We can’t stand the sight of each other any longer” the father says. “We’re sick of each other and I’m sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Denver and tell her.” Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. “Like heck they’re getting divorced” she shouts, “I’ll take care of this!” She calls Jacksonville immediately and screams at her father. “You are NOT getting divorced. Don’t do a single thing until I get there. I’m calling my brother back and we’ll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don’t do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?” and hangs up. The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. “Okay” he says, “they’re coming for Thanksgiving and paying their own way!”

Yes I Must Be Behind in the Times!

Ok I feel so behind today! I just paid all of my utility bills online today... I feel so accomplised! yes I am a dork and now saving the planet one bill at a time.

Moving On Day

Friday November 14 2008 was the officially declared moving day for my Ex-husband. He is to be arriving shortly from Iraq and to immediately be served with a PFA ( Protection from Abuse Order). To clarify this for those of you who do not know why the divorce has occurred he finally admitted to having been unfaithful starting 30 days home from his first deployment and continuing to be so all through the year and a half finally culminating in his physical attacks towards me 4 days after comming home from the hospitol after giving birth to Natalie. He has never been charged with anything even after they took pictures of my bruising he now believes he can get away with murder. Not to mention his drug and alchohol problems w/ the military ignored. He even met his new wifey in Iraq a female soldier.

Here I am Proud to be moving his crap OUT!!
